Bollard Installation
Whether you need to have a new bollard installed or you have maybe had a lorry/car damage an existing bollard, Paving Doctor can come and install a new one. We work with many different suppliers, so getting a match shouldn’t be a problem. Paving Doctor will arrive on-site and dig out an appropriate depth to install your new bollard, wrapping it in a very strong concrete mix.
The bollards are left with caution tape and/or traffic cones to ensure there is no movement during the concrete curing. A bollard that is becoming very popular, due to it being almost impossible to move, is the “bell bollard.” This bollard is shaped like a bell and is shorter, wider and requires a lot more concrete to set it in place. These are designed not to move when a HGV makes contact with it.
